Hello to all Dorval soccer players, parents and citizens,

Welcome to the 2009 season, our 44th year of operation. Dorval has seen some tremendous growth and interest over the past few years in our Soccer program and now offer Soccer from Micro to Senior age categories and our competitive program is now up to 14 Inter-City teams. 

I would like to thank all the people that made Dorval Soccer what it is today and the vast number of people who have been involved in the past.  We have kept our autonomy as a city sports association and are a truly community oriented service to the needs of Dorval.  We aim to have a transparent and available group of association members at the service of our members at all times.
 
This year will see the fabrication of a synthetic Field-Turf field and Clubhouse at the Sarto DesNoyers Community center parallel to the existing Soccer field.  These facilities will be ready in the Fall of 2008 and will be in full use next year.  This field will take Dorval soccer into the future and provide our city with a major league facility in which our children will have a safe and reliable playing surface in which to play.  Low maintenance and high availability will be the major benefits to Dorval.  

I recommend you to use our constantly updated web site http://www.dorvalsoccer.com for your single point of reference on all Dorval Soccer events. This web site along with email has now become our main method of communication.  This saves the association money in mailings and is more up to date than notices at our community centers. 

Finally, but extremely important please do not forget that our Executive Committee (listed in the Contact Section) is here to work on behalf of your children. Should you have any questions, thoughts, comments or recommendations please drop us a line or feel free to approach any of us at our parks throughout the City.

In conclusion, I wish you all a fantastic summer of soccer whether you are playing, coaching, refereeing or just plain watching and cheering.
